Section VI - Security and safety regulations
Access to terminals
The access to the NCC Seaport Terminals will be strictly
controlled at the gates and only allowed to the following persons :

Employees of NCC and authorities in the exercise of
their duties

Employees of NCC Seaport Terminals sub-contractors
if in the exercise of their functions and duly identified

Persons specially authorized by NCC Seaport
Terminals and as such identified
Vehicles and pedestrians
The circulation of vehicles and pedestrians is dangerous
considering the type of operations being performed within the NCC Seaport
Terminals, the size of the equipment employed and the bad visibility, especially
at corners and alongside containers and cargoes. Due to this fact, the vehicles
and pedestrians authorized to circulate within the Seaport Terminals, shall at
all times follow the following stipulations :

The transit routes for vehicles are specially
demarked for this purpose and shall be strictly adhered to

Within the terminals, the parking areas are only
those demarked for this purpose. Any vehicle parked in other areas will be
removed at costs of the owner.

All vehicles have to strictly obey the transit
signals painted on the grounds or in any other way exposed.

Within the terminals, all vehicles will circulate at
a maximum speed of 20 km/h

NCC Seaport Terminals equipment, whether of
transport of handling, will have right of way at all times, especially in
corners, regardless any circumstances.

Pedestrians authorized to circulate within the
operating areas must do so in the areas demarked for this purposes and wear
helmets at all times. Visitors will receive these at gates on arrival and are
due to redeliver them at the moment of departure.

Any personnel not involved in the operations at
ahnd, is strictly prohibited to stay within the areas of operations.

Any and all violations of these regulations, or
actions that show to be endangering persons or materials, will allow the
security personnel of NCC Seaport Terminals to immediate intervention,
including the removal of persons or objects from the terminals. These persons
or objects will also be responsible for any loss or damage that might occur to
persons or material. |
