Section VIII - NCC Seaport Terminals liabilities

In relation to containers/cargoes

According to legal requirements, NCC Seaport Terminals are legally responsible for containers and or cargoes under its custody.

All containers or cargoes stored in the Seaport Terminals for more than 30 days will be considered abandoned. NCC Seaport Terminals will not be responsible for any container or cargo after this period, informing the owners one day prior to the expiration of said period and may proceed to the sale of the goods in question without any responsibility whatsoever.

In relation to services

NCC Seaport Terminals, duly authorized to render public services, will endeavour to exploit the operations in its terminals in such a way to give an equal treatment to all users and according to the agreements made with each of them in separate contracts. Equally, NCC Seaport Terminals will assume the same responsibility with irregular users or with those that the pertinent authorities may determine have to be handled at any of the Seaport Terminals.

The berthing priorities are determined by NCC Seaport Terminals and in accordance with the agreements signed with its customers.

All services rendered in the Seaport Terminals will be done by NCC Seaport Terminals personnel or its sub-contracted firms only and exclusively.
