NCC starts the Shushary container terminal constructing

On September 26, 2007 National Container Company (NCC) starts constructing works at Shushary Logistika-Terminal site in St. Petersburg.

The logistics center is to include container terminal of 10,000 TEU laden and 4,500 TEU empty storage capacity.

This new off-dock terminal is to allow First Container Terminal (St.Petersburg port) capacity expanding. The containers will be transported from FCT to Shushary by rails and trucks for storage and handling.

Furthermore Distribution and Transit warehouses and Wholesale center will be constructed at the Logistika-Terminal site. Total area of the center is 90 he, total investments are planned of $85 mio.
