EDI Facilities of FCT information system. EDI Scheduling
Formats available:
1. UN EDIFACT (United Nations Electronic Data Interchange for Administration, Commerce and Transport) - The format has been developed under United Nation supervision. UN keeps their supervisory role in father development of the format. EDIFACT messages for mareen industry are developed and promoted by SMDG workgroup.
2. XML - This format is built according to local agreement between FCT and their clients. The format does not corresponds to any international EDI standard.
Messages transport protocol: e-mail
Optional messages pgp encryption according to rfc 2440 is available.
Scheduling of information exchanging process should correspond to conditions of contracts between the terminal, shipping lines and their agents
